2) It’s not really a good idea to post the derivations of ordinary words like Sunday, since pretty much everyone here knows them.  If you come across a really unusual etymology, of course, feel free to share.

3) Your use of “cheese” to open each of your posts gives me hives (and I suspect I’m not the only one); as a personal favor to me, do you think you could omit it?  Thanks!

Ah, I see you were indeed testing in preparation for your “days of the week” post, and you didn’t use “cheese” there, so… never mind!
