Just to let you know that the “confirmation” email went straight to my Junk Mail folder.  In a normal Hotmail account.

I don’t know what you need to do to avoid this, but other people have no problem getting to my Inbox.  (It’s not like I have filtering set to “exclusive” or anything).

My experience with Hotmail is that all system-generated messages get flagged as junk. It’s just something you have to keep your eye out for.

Not so.  I have gotten similar “activation” messages from any number of sites and they RARELY wind up there.

I could not tell you what the difference is.  Except to say that I learned a new word - “ham” - in the course of investigating!
