I was wondering to myself whether or not anyone had ever scored a goal directly from a cornerkick in the World Cup.

Then I forgot about that and was wondering who had appeared at the greatest number of World Cups, so I was looking at the World Cup Records page in Wikipedia, and I noticed an entry “The Only Olympic Goal”. I scratched my head, figured it was a typo and edited the Discussion to ask what the heck was meant.

Turns out that getting a goal straight from a cornerkick is called an Olympic Goal.

No, it’ll be diegogarcity when you start seeing and hearing it in World Cup coverage.
