I tried to post a period and received just the same message as lh. I also got that message earlier trying to post yes in response to Doc’s post in the other thread. No problem posting 4-letter words and above.

Might it be that these restrictions do not apply at admin level?

OK, it let that one through, but it’s not just a case of the server refusing postings for an interval.  It was definitely excluding my short posts and letting my longer ones through.
