For anyone in the UK or anyone who can view BBC2 and who may be interested:  they’ve just emailed to say the second series starts on Friday at 10pm.  Alex Games has written a book to accompany the second series ("Balderdash & Piffle – One Sandwich Short of a Dog’s Dinner"), which contains a full report on the first Wordhunt from last year’s series.

I got that email (not sure why) and wish I could see the series.  But the OED will again be “open” for 48 hours after the show airs.

Now that it’s started - does anyone else think this series doesn’t seem quite as fresh as the first series? Maybe that’s inevitable, but still…
