That sounds like 105 bucks extremely well spent. I first heard of this Righthaven bunch a few months back when a blogger they were pursuing wrote a piece on them. One of his correspondents had posted a short paragraph from the Las Vegas Review Journal, with link and attribution. The Journal is one among many papers owned by Righthaven, who have been purchasing small papers from all over the US, presumably with this particular end in mind.  Apparently these guys spend all their time googling for any reference to their publications. If they get a hit and someone has quoted a few lines from them they go in for the kill. (Here’s a regularly updated list of the journals they own, probably just as well for us to keep a weather eye on it).

Some Righthaven targets have begun fighting back. See this article in the Las Vegas Sun.
