My screen says “Posted: 11 months, 4 weeks, 2 days, 9 hours, 59 minutes ago”. This looks most unfamiliar to me. Have I never noticed before? Is it my browser? Someone’s new year glitch?

No, that sometimes appears immediately after you post. It will change to the correct time if you refresh after a minute or two.
