Well said, OP. And he will go on entertaining - I recently introduced my 19-year-old daughter to Fahrenheit 451; it immediately became one of her favourite books and spurred an interest in exploring classic SF. (However, she doesn’t like Truffaut’s film which I rather enjoyed.)

I’ll miss having Ray Bradbury around.

I still remember the joy of anticipation while carrying my copy of “The Martian Chronicles” to the school library to read instead of going to the lunchroom to eat.
