Reporting of and reporting on are both perfectly cromulant but they don’t mean the same thing.

Speaking of nitpicking, the last time I saw that word in print (i suspect, on this forum) it was spelt with an “a” not and “e”. An authoritative prounouncement seems called for. Is there a Simpson in the house?

Cromulent it is. (I assume you meant to say spelt with an e not an a)
