Are there similar sites which will take one to the definitions of a word in multiple dictionaries?

Droogle beat me with the warning by about 15 minutes.  My question is:  how vulnerable is my Mac to this sort of attack?  Should I stop using onelook.com on my Mac? It’s a site I find extremely useful, and I’m waiting eagerly to see of Droogle’s query elicits any useful answers.

There may or may not be a problem. Wordorigins.org was once briefly given one of these warning labels by Google. Google was very responsive and removed it swiftly after I contacted them. In my case, there was no malware or security problem, and I’m not sure what prompted Google’s algorithm to flag it.

But an aggregator like Onelook.com is more vulnerable to this type of thing. All it takes is malware on one of the sites they aggregate.

If Onelook.com is on top of things, I’ll bet the warning disappears rather quickly.

I don’t see one. I take it that means it’s gone now?

Yes, Google sometimes has glitches which can tag quite harmless sites with this warning. As Dave says, if it’s a mistake the warning will disappear, usually within 24 hours. Even when you know that it has to be an error though (as when the Hollywood Deadline site was affected last year) you hesitate to go to the site, just in case.
