That’s relatively good news (though I continue to resent CMOS’s retrograde views on grammar).  I’m just hoping the new edition won’t be outrageously expensive, since I’ll have to buy it for my job.

Being, I suppose, more of a techie than a wordie, the thread title baffled me at first.  What does the singular they have to do with complementary metal oxide semiconductors?
