Wiktionary’s word of the day is mentalese: A hypothetical non-verbal language in which concepts are represented in the mind: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/mentalese

Isn’t all spoken language mental first? Why create a word that simply translated means “thought”? What am I missing?
