The OED says parka is from Nenets.

Good lord, I would never in a million years have guessed there was an English word from Nenets.  I love English and its incorrigible thieving tendencies.

LH, how about the fact that there’s an online comparative dictionary of Nenets-Nganasan (in English and in Russian)? (One with 27K speakers and the other with around 500.)
