However, the word “prurient” does seem misplaced in relation to scatology. The dictionary says it comes from a Latin word meaning to itch.

So?  The word bead used to mean ‘prayer.’ Etymology is irrelevant to meaning.

Good point. Hopefully in this case it’ll be seen as Phair use.

But I’ll avoid it in the future.
