philo-sophiaI learnt from a web about this, someone says the word “philosophy” transfers to the combination of love and wisdom.
philo-sophia="love"+"wisdom"
Any story about the origine of “philo” plus “sophia”?
Tanks ahead!

No, no story attached to it that I know of. The word dates back to classical Latin and Greek.

Your interpretation of the roots is correct, but the combination means “love of knowledge”, the desire for and pursuit of learning and wisdom.
