The RSS feeds for the site are showing a fair amount of spam. I’m assuming they are unauthorized posts coming from limbo before you delete them. Dunno if you can do anything about it, but there it is.

I was also wondering if you can set the feeds to include the full threaded discussions? As it is, you have to subscribe to each thread if you want to follow it, and it’s kind of a pain.

First, are you talking about the feed for the discussion forum or the main site? I’m not seeing a lot of spam in the RSS feeds for the forums. There is the occasional spam message, of course, but these are pretty rare. Can you send me the URL to the feed you’re subscribed to?

Yes, you can subscribe to various levels of the forums. Go to the page for the level you want to subscribe at and click the RSS button to get the feed.

I’m not sure how you are subscribing to individual threads. I didn’t think that option was available.

I’m getting the atom feeds 2 & 3.

I see now that what I thought were page feeds are really just the main feed for that forum. Oh well.

The general discussion forum had three spams right near the top when it first came in that really jumped out at me. I found it surprising since I’ve never see such blatant spam on the board itself. I saw a few further down the scroll so I decided to mention it in case it was something you didn’t know about. No worries.

RSS has been around forever but it’s getting new splash and I’m finding it very useful.
